Somelos Fios is part of Somelos group, a family owned Textile Company founded in 1958. The group operates in the spinning, weaving and finishing areas and is located in Guimarães (North-Western Portugal). This region possesses a long tradition in the cotton textile business, hence placing Somelos within a unique economic, social and technical context. The group employees 1500 workers and it's own facilities cover an area in excess of 300.000 square meters.
